It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Gail Gosnell, age 85, of Dorchester, Ontario, on October 10, 2026. Gail was born on November 3, 1940, in Sarnia, Ontario, to Lola and Les Bentley. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support of those she loved. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Gail was always willing to volunteer to support her children in sports and activities growing up, she enjoyed times at the lake, going to the casino and most of all, she loved spending time with all her family and friends.

Gail is survived by her adoring husband of 55 years, Ron Gosnell; her cherished children, Todd (Christina) Gosnell and Jodie (Matt) Awad; and her loving grandchildren, Abigail, Gwenyth, Turner, Julia, and Charlotte. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Beth (the late Ron) Scott, and her brother, Peter (Marlene) Bentley. Gail was predeceased by her parents, Lola and Les Bentley; her sisters, Norma (Bill) Stephens and Marilyn (Lloyd) Gibson; and her brother, Robert (Linda) Bentley.

Gail touched the lives of many extended family members and countless friends. More than anything, she cared for the people around her with unwavering love, compassion, and support. Her warm presence, thoughtful nature, and devotion to family made a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gail's life on Tuesday October 20th 2026 at 1PM at Dorchester Union Cemetery Columbarium, Dorchester, ON followed by a reception from 2PM to 6PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 513 - 1227 Donnybrook Dr, Dorchester, ON N0L 1G0.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at University Hospital for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness. Though deeply missed, Gail's love, memory, and family legacy will remain with us always.
